Hey Dallas!
This week, we wanted to start with a gentle reminder: taking breaks from raving can actually make the magic hit harder. Stepping away every now and then gives your mind and body time to reset, helps protect your mental health, and makes those nights back on the dancefloor feel special again. Even the things we love most are best enjoyed in balance — when it’s all go, all the time, the joy can fade faster than we realize.
We also want to touch on the recent Svdden Death show. Disco Donnie Presents has acknowledged that mistakes were made surrounding the situation with the Rave Ref and the way security handled things. Running events at this scale isn’t perfect, and it’s not always possible for promoters to be on-site for every show. That’s why community voices matter so much — speaking up helps bring attention to issues that might otherwise go unseen and allows space for accountability and improvement. If you attended the recent event at Silo Dallas for SVDDEN DEATH and left feeling disappointed, you can reach out to contact@silodallas.com regarding refunds.
Looking ahead to the weekend, we hope to see you out — when it feels right.
