MARKED SAFE FROM FOMO

Hey Friends!

Last weekend was a full one, in the best way. Friday started with Holy Priest before I headed over to District Afters to celebrate one of my favorite local DJs, Numbered Daze, with a birthday set and a proper dose of late-night hard techno. On Saturday, I switched things up at the Nazaar Pop-Up at Green Elephant, rounding out another weekend that reminded me just how much variety Dallas nightlife has to offer.

This week, the Texas calendar is just as stacked. Tinlicker and Helsloot make their way through the state with stops at House of Blues Dallas on Tuesday, Emo’s in Austin on Wednesday, and House of Blues Houston on Thursday. On Saturday, NYC underground house pioneer Jovonn takes over Shyboy, with doors opening early at 5:30 PM for an intimate edition of Sound Advice. Austin also welcomes Weekend One of Austin City Limits—but my top pick belongs to the Dallas underground: Bounce All Night Afters, featuring Bucky’s Dallas debut and his signature blend of hard groove, bounce, hard dance, and trance. Luv Hex and Susie Otto will be joining him in support, with the secret location revealed on the day of the event. Grab your ticket now, or text DISTRICT to 817-880-8325 for event updates and details about upcoming afters.

Now, let’s get back into the rhythm. Here’s what’s happening in DFW this week.
