Hi Dallas,
Ever raved so hard you forgot about reality for 16 hours… and then got paid for your troubles? Yeah, that was my week.
I know, I went MIA — but in my defense, you can thank Virgin Atlantic for the disappearing act. ✈️ My trip to the UK came with enough delays and plane drama to make a Netflix mini-series. The upside? Thanks to EU travel regulations, I actually got reimbursed more than the cost of my entire trip. Budget airline chaos: 0, Me: 1.
And the reason for this whirlwind adventure? Teletech Techno Festival in Manchester. Pure. Bliss. Sixteen hours of pounding beats, flashing lights, and dancing with the kind of joy you only find at 4 a.m. in a warehouse full of strangers who feel like family. Bonus points to my Eargasm earplugs for saving my ears — I left without the dreaded post-rave ringing, which is a small miracle in comparison to the sore-ness of dancing for 16h straight.
It’s a night (and day… and night again) I’ll carry with me forever, and I already can’t wait to go back. Manchester, you’ve officially stolen my heart — and my best dance moves.
